Pelican Bay – Naples, FL – It has been a busy summer in Pelican Bay.  Summit Broadband has been busy laying their cable lines throughout the community.  I’ve seen the orange pipe they use to put the fiber optic cables in throughout Pelican Bay.

I’m eagerly awaiting our connection to Summit Broadband. My husband and I have a date set in November for our installation.

The Sandpiper, Pelican Bay’s North beach, is still under construction.  My husband Don and I usually try to visit the beach every day after work.  We’ve been utilizing the Sandbar, Pelican Bay’s South beach, this summer.  I have to say in the 18 years I have lived in Pelican Bay, this has been the busiest summer I have seen!  I know that Sandbar has more Residents using its facility; however the traffic, restaurants and stores have been busy for summertime.  This is the first year I saw two car carriers in July!  Last week I was heading North on 41. It took two stop lights before I could pass the Golden Gate intersection!  My goodness this is August!

Are you looking to buy a home in Pelican Bay?  Inventory remains low here. Just today I checked the MLS to see how many low-rise condos were on the market in Pelican Bay.  I wasn’t surprised to see only 24 listings.  I’ve been around long enough I can remember when there were over 90 low-rise listings on the market and 77% of all low-rise listings failed to sell.  That is certainly not the case anymore.

Last night after our evening rain storm I walked out to Pelican Bay Boulevard and saw this beautiful HUGE rainbow over Pelican Bay. A second rainbow was above it.

Unfortunately this photo doesn’t do the rainbow justice.  I just couldn’t capture the second rainbow. Pelican Bay is certainly a beautiful place to live. Would you like to call Pelican Bay home?
