As I read this article I was taken back to the time I helped my Mother-in-law downsize. The OHIO rule; Only Handle It Once really proved a challenge. We ended up with too many “maybe” piles. Item #3 hit the mark with my too. I vividly remember asking my Mother-in-law WHY she needed 15 casseroles. We also had a rooster collection we had to weed through. After helping Mom downsize, I thought about what my family might have to go through helping my husband and I downsize. You’ll be happy to know that I own only 4 casseroles of various sizes that are frequently used.
